There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no personal details collected by us. We don't know who you are, and we don't track you across other sites.
Your saved clippings, theme choice, text size, and language preference are stored directly in your own browser — not on our servers, and not accessible to us. Clearing your browser data or switching devices removes them, because they never left your device.
When you simplify a link, our server fetches that page. It may then send the page's text to a third-party AI service, so it can write the short summary. If you paste article text directly, we skip the fetching step and just send your pasted text the same way. If you pick a language other than English, we send that choice too, so your summary comes back in the right language. None of this ever includes any personal information about you — only the article's own content.
This site may show adverts, which can involve cookies used by our advertising partner to show relevant ads and measure performance. You'll be asked to accept or decline non-essential cookies before any are set.
We don't store or cache the full text of any article you link to or paste — only the short summary you personally chose to save, on your own device.
We also check each site's robots.txt before reading it, and won't read a page that a publisher has explicitly asked automated tools not to access.
Summaries link back to the original article when there is one. Once you leave this site for the original source, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
